Bradford Liva, M.D. obtained his BA in Biology at Boston University. He graduated from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, where he received his MD in 1978. He completed his Residency in Ophthalmology in 1983 and served as Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Dr. Liva completed a Fellowship in Retina-Vitreous Diseases and Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 1985. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Liva maintains membership in the American Academy of Ophthalmology since 1991 and served as a member of the Alumni Board of Governors at Blair Academy from 1989 to
1992.
Dr. Liva has presented lectures on the subject of vitreo-retinal diseases and surgery and has participated in clinical studies for Anti-VEGF trials.
