COVID-19 Announcement

The health and safety of our patients, community and team members is our top priority.

In Compliance with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and at the American Academy of Ophthalmology recommendation, here are some measures our practice has taken while protecting our patient’s health during the Coronavirus Pandemic:

• Our offices are limiting patient appointments to urgent/emergent and patients undergoing scheduled treatments.
• Rooms and instruments are thoroughly disinfected before and after each patient encounter.   Frequent and thorough disinfecting of waiting rooms, chairs, desk surfaces and common areas is performed throughout the day. 
• All staff members are wearing Personal Protective Equipment.
• We are asking all patients to wear a mask to their appointments.
• We are asking patients to wait outside, or in their car, instead of in the normal waiting room. This is to protect you, the other patients, and the office staff from possible virus exposure in crowded waiting areas. 
• We are restricting the number of people entering our office. If you do not need someone to be there with you, please do not bring anyone to your appointment. 
• The doctors are using a special plastic breath shield on the slit-lamp machine they use to look into your eyes.
•  The doctor may ask you to wait to speak until after your eye exam is complete. Then they can talk with you and answer questions when they can be at a safe distance from you.
